Audeze has announced a novel technology called SLAM, designed to improve the realism of bass frequencies and overall audio detail. According to Audeze, this advancement builds upon the company’s foundation of planar magnetic technology.
Reporting on the innovation, Audeze explained that SLAM’s purpose is to deliver a more immersive listening experience. The company shared that several artists and audio professionals have already explored the capabilities of SLAM. Among those involved are recording engineer and mixer Angie Randisi, who has been recognized with Grammy nominations, and Josh Rogosin, a recording and mixing professional with credits on numerous shows.
Furthermore, Audeze highlighted the involvement of Li-sa-X, a Japanese guitarist and composer who received an invitation from Paul Gilbert to experience the technology, and Santaflow, an artist, composer, and producer. These collaborations showcase the technology's potential across diverse musical genres.
The company intends to continue refining SLAM and integrating it into future products.
