Audio Feed recently provided Funktion-One loudspeakers for all eight stages at the Gottwood Festival in the United Kingdom, according to ProSoundWeb. The festival, which features house, techno, minimal, and disco music, presented a unique logistical challenge for the sound reinforcement provider.
The deployment included a range of Funktion-One models, such as Evolution X, Evolution 2, F-Series, Bass Reflex, and infrabass loudspeakers. ProSoundWeb reports that the event’s organizers secured a 24-hour license for the 2026 festival.
To manage noise levels, the festival has a goal of maintaining a 45 dB sound level at nearby residences, and Audio Feed implemented four-point Funktion-One systems to mitigate offsite noise. The sound company installed the complete system in just 36 hours prior to the festival weekend.
Festival organizers require more than 90 pieces of DJ equipment to be on hand for the event.
