August Muse has relocated its downtown Elizabethton, Tennessee, storefront to 404 E. Elk Ave., according to a report from the Elizabethton Star.
Owned by Paula Augustine, August Muse is a diversified creative-arts retailer serving musicians, dancers and visual artists. Its music business includes supplies and instrument accessories, music lessons and repair services for student band instruments. The company says customers can bring in brass instruments, flutes and clarinets for cleaning and repair.
The expanded location provides dedicated areas for the store’s art, dance and music offerings, along with space for classes and collaborations. August Muse opened in 2022 and held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the relocation. The Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce described the move as an expansion of the arts presence in the city’s downtown district.
