Locally owned music retail store Best in Music (Orem, Utah) recently celebrated 25 years in business with an anniversary event on September 12. The event (one in a series of annual anniversary events) saw big deals on music, instruments, and other products as well as the famous drawing for $18,000 worth of prizes. Musical performances from local bands as well as students and teachers from the Best in Music Education Center held in the store parking lot began at noon on September 13.
Best in Music owner, Ruby Beeston, is well-known in the Utah County music community. She served in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for 20 years, and now runs a chain of four Best in Music retail stores in Orem with her family. Ruby and the Best in Music staff look forward to the anniversary event each year because it is an opportunity to give back to the community with unbelievable prizes.
The anniversary event always draws a large crowd. This year, Best in Music gave away 10 guitars including a Fender ‘65 American Vintage Stratocaster worth $2,900 along with several other prizes. Best in Music has always been a community favorite when it comes to music retail stores, and they are proud to serve their local community and reward them with this exciting, fun-filled, family event each year.
