Biamp has announced an update to its Workplace Designer software, designed to streamline the process of planning audio-visual systems for meeting spaces, according to Installation.
According to Installation, the software’s latest version incorporates compatibility with the Devio UCX conferencing platform, alongside support for BMA 360D ceiling microphones and Devio UCX compute devices. Reporting from Installation indicates that the software now allows users to conceptualize full conferencing system setups.
Installation notes that a new feature enables automatic selection of appropriate microphone models during the design phase. The new capabilities are intended to make the room planning process more straightforward.
Biamp’s updated software also facilitates the creation of consistent meeting room layouts, providing a foundation for standardized design approaches. Installation reports that these changes build upon the software’s existing capabilities.
