Bitwig Studio 6.1 has officially left its public beta testing period to become a stable release for everyone with an active Upgrade Plan. This update is available free of charge to current users of the Bitwig Studio, Producer, Essentials, and 8-Track editions.
The most significant change in this update is the introduction of a completely redesigned Sampler. This new instrument includes Spectral and Fragments play modes that allow for more creative audio manipulation. However, these advanced play modes are only available in the full version of Bitwig Studio. Users running Producer, Essentials, or 8-Track will not have access to these specific features.
