Bose Professional has announced that it has purchased Fulcrum Acoustic, a company specializing in the creation of loudspeakers and amplifiers. According to Mondo Dr., this marks Bose Professional’s initial acquisition since 2023.

Established in 2008, Fulcrum Acoustic designs and constructs its products in Whitinsville, Massachusetts. The company’s audio systems incorporate digital signal processing techniques and are commonly deployed in venues like stadiums and performing arts centers. Mondo Dr. reports that Fulcrum will maintain its identity as a distinct brand following the acquisition.

Bose Professional's parent company is implementing a broader strategy that includes transitioning the Bose Professional brand to the 802 LABS brand, a shift slated for completion in 2027. This move will impact the company's product offerings and market presence over the coming years.

The acquisition is expected to expand Bose Professional’s portfolio and reach within the professional audio market. Mondo Dr. indicates that further details regarding integration plans and future product development will be released at a later date.
