ChamSys lighting consoles and related equipment played a significant role in the production of the Download Festival, which attracted over 100,000 attendees this year. According to ChamSys, their systems were deployed across a number of stages at the prominent music event.

ZigZag Lighting supplied ChamSys consoles and lighting kits for the majority of the festival's stages, providing essential tools for the lighting designers. ChamSys reported that the MagicQ software suite was utilized across multiple areas of the festival.

Specific console models were assigned to particular stages. For example, the Avalanche Stage 3 and Dogtooth Stage 4 utilized a MagicQ MQ500M Stadium Console, while The Den at District X featured a MagicQ MQ250M Stadium Console. Lighting designers Pete Therrien, Wiktor Kozak, Stefan Gunkel, Adam McNally, and Richard Wolfgang also employed various ChamSys consoles and accessories to support their designs for acts including Social Distortion, Decapitated, Cypress Hill, RØRY, and The Pretty Wreckless.

The equipment facilitated complex lighting schemes for a wide range of performances at the festival.
