Chief has announced the availability of the Tempo Flat Panel In-Wall Single-Box Mount System, intended for use in commercial and academic settings. According to Installation International, the new system is built to accommodate smaller to medium-sized displays, offering both landscape and portrait mounting options.
Installation International reports that the system has received UL 2442 listing and is compatible with standard 16-inch on-center stud framing. The design incorporates a two-stage installation process, separating the enclosure setup from the final display and finishing steps.
The enclosure is initially installed during the building’s rough-in phase, followed by separate work to install the display and complete the drywall. Post-installation, adjustments are possible after the drywall is in place. A service extension measuring 10.65 inches enables access to the display for maintenance or adjustments.
Features of the new system include Lever Lock storage panels and cable routing knockouts on all sides of the enclosure. These design elements simplify the installation process and provide flexibility for managing cabling.
