The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) and Bass Magazine have formalized an extended partnership, with plans for a significant presence at the 2027 NAMM Show, according to a recent announcement. This collaboration will see the Bass Magazine Awards becoming a featured event within the broader NAMM Show experience.

Reporting from NAMM, the annual gathering for the music products industry, indicates that the Bass Magazine Awards ceremony will now be held on-site at the NAMM Show. The 2027 awards presentation will specifically take place at the ACC Arena.

The annual awards recognize outstanding accomplishments in bass playing and artistry, with previous honorees including renowned artists like Sting and Marcus Miller. Sponsorship for the 2027 awards show is being provided by RCF. The Bass Magazine Awards show is scheduled for January 28 at the ACC Arena.

NAMM, a non-profit organization representing over 15,400 member companies and supporting a $19.5 billion music products industry, also hosts other recognition events like the Retail Awards, TEC Awards, and Parnelli Awards. The NAMM Foundation works to encourage music education and participation.
