DANSR, Inc. is proud to announce that effective May 1stit has begun worldwide distribution for Smith Mallets. Located in Phoenix, AZ, Smith Mallets was founded by Robb Smith in 2004. Smith manufactures a wide variety of high-quality mallets ranging from entry level to professional.
Smith earned a Bachelor’s in Music in Percussion Performance and a Minor in Music Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and started making his own mallets while studying at VCU. Soon, Smith began making them for fellow students. The manufacturing of mallets was put on hold as Robb pursued his performance career which included performing with the Richmond Symphony as well as Broadway Musicals. Smith knew he’d be back to making mallets as he saw the opportunity to create high-performance mallets at a lower cost than most.
