ENGL Amplifiers has introduced the Savage 30 tube amplifier head and the Powercube 200 pedalboard power amplifier. The company announced both products for release Sept. 25, 2026, through authorized dealers.

The Savage 30 is a 30-watt, two-channel head with clean and lead channels. It uses four ECC83 preamp tubes and two EL34 power tubes. The amplifier includes a tube-buffered serial effects loop and a noise gate with a footswitchable threshold.

Controls include gain for each channel, bass, middle, treble, lead volume, presence and master volume. Gain Lo/Hi, Contour and Depth Boost settings provide additional sound shaping. Rear-panel controls include the Powersoak, with Full, Mid, Low Power and Speaker Off settings, and noise-gate threshold adjustment.

The head has a S.A.C. port for the ENGL Z9 foot controller and a dual footswitch jack for the ENGL Z4. Speaker outputs support one 8- to 16-ohm cabinet or two 16-ohm cabinets. A line output is also included. The amplifier is made in Germany.

The Powercube 200 is a compact Class Dpower stage intended for use with preamps, modelers and amplifier-in-a-box pedals. It provides a maximum output of 200 watts into a minimum 4-ohm load.

The Powercube includes a balanced DI output, a switchable three-band equalizer and a presence control. The equalizer can be switched off. Its power supply accepts 100 to 240 volts AC, and the unit weighs 1.05 kilograms.
