Audio Feed, a sound system provider, outfitted eight stages at the Gottwood Festival with Funktion-One audio systems. The Welsh festival, located on Anglesey, unfolded from Thursday evening through Monday morning, according to Installation International.
The festival’s location necessitates careful management of sound levels, with a requirement of 45 decibels after 11 p.m. for nearby residences. To meet these limitations, the audio setups incorporated four-point configurations designed to contain the sound fields. Installation International reports that the project involved a total of 92 pieces of DJ equipment.
The deployment of the sound systems required a substantial effort, with the installation process taking 36 hours to finish. Audio Feed has been responsible for providing Gottwood’s sound infrastructure since 2019. Stages benefiting from the Funktion-One systems included locations such as the Tree House, The Barn, and The Curve.
