Galaxy Audio introduced the RM‑BT26 Half Rack Stereo Bluetooth® Receiver, a compact unit aimed at adding reliable wireless audio streaming to professional and installed sound environments.
The receiver fits into a half‑rack (½U) chassis and ships with a rack‑mount kit for standard AV rack installation, targeting venues such as houses of worship, schools, conference rooms and live performance spaces.
Equipped with Bluetooth 5.4, the RM‑BT26 offers balanced XLR and Euroblock outputs as well as unbalanced RCA connections, allowing connection to mixers, amplifiers, powered speakers or consumer gear. Pairing is initiated only via a front‑panel button or a remote contact closure, preventing unwanted connections in shared settings, and a selectable memory function lets users choose automatic reconnection or manual pairing each session.
Additional features include a two‑color LED status indicator with remote capability, front‑panel volume control, an illuminated power switch, dual non‑simultaneous SMA antenna ports, and a USB‑C 5 V output for charging devices. The unit supports an operating range of up to 164 ft (50 m).
Galaxy Audio listed the RM‑BT26 at a street price of $249.99, with availability scheduled for September 2026.
