Harrison Audio has announced the availability of the Flex-10, a new audio interface designed for a range of recording applications. According to Pro Sound Web, the device combines USB and ADAT connectivity options in a compact form factor.

The Flex-10 incorporates two microphone preamplifier channels, each equipped with Harrison’s H-DRIVE transformer saturation technology. Reporting from Pro Sound Web indicates that these channels also include high-pass and low-pass filters to shape the tonal characteristics of recorded signals. The interface also contains two 1/4-inch inputs for instruments.

The audio interface supports a resolution of 32-bit/192 kHz and provides eight channels of ADAT input/output. Pro Sound Web’s reporting further notes the inclusion of two independent monitor outputs, two headphone outputs, and MIDI I/O through 3.5 mm TRS connectors. Balanced insert points are available for each channel, along with VU meters for visual monitoring.

Bundled with the Flex-10 are Harrison Mixbus 12 DAW software and the Harrison Creator Pack, according to Pro Sound Web. This combination aims to offer a complete recording and mixing solution for users.
