Music Instrument News reported that HeadRush announced a major firmware update for its Prime™, Core™, and Flex Prime™ pedals. This update provides native support for Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) captures and direct integration with TONE3000, the platform for community-created guitar tone. This development connects players directly to a global ecosystem of creators, eliminating the need for a computer, conversion, or third-party software.

With this update, users can search, demo, download, and play NAM captures directly from TONE3000 using the onboard touchscreen and HeadRush Cloud. This allows for instant access to tones from iconic amps or boutique pedal chains, removing technical barriers between discovery and performance. The system supports hundreds of thousands of community-created captures.

The firmware update is currently available at no charge for all existing owners of the Prime, Core, and Flex Prime models, and it can be updated via Wi-Fi. This positions the entire multi-effects lineup to tap into the open, community-powered spirit reshaping modern guitar tone.
