Loudspeakers from HK Audio facilitated a six-week community celebration in Germany, according to Installation. The festival, named Summer in the City 2026, unfolded at Schlossplatz in St. Wendel, and featured a variety of events.
Eventservice Schmitt was responsible for the sound reinforcement at the festival, which took place from early July until August 5, 2026. The events drew audiences ranging from 1,500 to 2,500 people each time.
Technical specifications for the sound system included the utilization of LTS 5 loudspeakers and Lab.Gruppen amplifiers. Each event incorporated four L SUB 4000 subwoofers, alongside LINEAR 5 112 X speakers for additional sound coverage. Two Lab.Gruppen FP10000Q amplifiers, along with two to three Lab.Gruppen IPD 2400 amplifiers, powered the system. Two LTS 5 loudspeakers were specifically positioned to cover the immediate front area.
The loudspeaker manufacturer's headquarters are situated in St. Wendel, Germany, close to the festival location.
