IMS Technologies will be raffling off a pair of Christopher CS-1 referencing speakers at the Winter NAMM Show. Joshua Eagan, Christopher Speakers‘ director of sales and artist development, is providing the free pair of speakers.
These are the speakers that rock icon Mark Slaughter used to record and mix his latest album Halfway There.
Slaughter obtained a pair of the speakers along with a copy of Giving Shelter, IMS Technologies’ cancer fundraiser CD that was mixed on the speakers.
Slaughter said he was “so blown away by the quality and clarity of these speakers and how great the CD sounded that I felt compelled to not only endorse them but also to use them in my own studio. I’ve spent enough time in enough studios to know that Christopher CS-1’s match or exceed just about any other speakers with which I’ve mixed or mastered projects. I also appreciate that IMS is donating a portion of each sale to a fund to help cancer patients and their families. That is important and should be supported.”
