Korg has introduced the NTS‑4 Performance Mixer, a compact unit that combines a two‑channel USB audio interface with a small‑format mixer, Synthtopia reports. The device offers two mono inputs, four stereo inputs, a stereo send and return, cue monitoring, a headphone output and a USB return level control, all operating at 24‑bit/48 kHz.
The mixer incorporates two effects engines. The send path provides delays, reverbs and chorus, while the master‑effects section includes filters, phaser, decimator, drive, distortion, compression and limiting. The NTS‑4 does not support Korg’s Logue SDK, so users cannot customize the effects, Synthtopia notes.
In testing, the reviewer observed that the unit can be powered via USB and can stream audio from a phone or the BandLab app, though occasional noise was mentioned when using USB power. The layout also features cue mix and pre‑fade monitoring. The Korg NTS‑4 Performance Mixer is available now for $249.99 USD.
