A new addition to the Korg USA, Inc. sales team has been hired for the Southwest Territory. Rob Caniglia has been appointed the new District Sales Manager, effective immediately. Caniglia, a California resident, will be handling sales for the Golden State, developing and sustaining relationships with dealers in the industry.
Prior to his hire at KORG USA, Inc., Caniglia worked for D’addario & Company, Inc. in a variety of roles including Inside Sales, Percussion Specialist and Regional Sales Manager. After leaving D’addario in 2017, Caniglia worked for EMG pickups and most recently at Keith McMillon Instruments where he was the Vice President of Sales.
“Rob comes to our company with a lot of amazing industry experience. Having spent years selling in the Tech, Guitar and Drum categories, and with his background in product and brand management, Rob is about as well rounded as it gets,” says Matt Phillips, Director of Sales at Korg USA, Inc. “We are super exited to have him on our team,”.
Caniglia is a seasoned percussionist who’s not only an avid player, but also restores and repairs vintage and modern drums as well. He is currently the drummer in Two Little Birds, a duo with his wife.
