Lisbon’s K Urban Beach Club has recently benefited from a significant audio system overhaul, according to MONDO-DR. The venue, which functions as a restaurant, cocktail bar, and nightclub, aimed to achieve a sound quality comparable to that of well-known dance locations.
Club management desired a sound solution that would provide professional-grade audio, and KV2’s methodology appeared to be a promising option. Jakub Suchomel, an audio design specialist, evaluated the club’s physical space to determine the optimal audio configuration.
The modernization included KV2’s point-source speaker technology. Specifically, four SL412 loudspeakers were installed in the main area, accompanied by twelve ES1.8 subwoofers to deliver a robust low-frequency response. A secondary room received a progressive upgrade plan.
The updated system was launched in mid-April and has been contributing to a notable improvement in audio quality. Club owners are dedicated to ongoing enhancements across various sections of the establishment, solidifying its reputation as a premier nightlife destination in Europe.
