The Monte de Dios church, recognized as the largest Christian church within the Caribbean region, recently commenced operations. According to ProSoundWeb, the facility’s design incorporated a focus on high-quality audio reproduction to serve its substantial congregation.

Wholestage handled the sound system’s design, with SVL responsible for its integration. The project received support from L-Acoustics throughout the process, ensuring optimal performance. ProSoundWeb reports that Josh Maichele, representing L-Acoustics, contributed a specific subwoofer layout suggestion.

The auditorium’s capacity accommodates close to 8,000 attendees, and the sound system was implemented to maintain consistent audio levels. The design team prioritized clear speech intelligibility across the entire seating area, striving for a maximum level difference of no more than 3 dB. The primary sound reinforcement utilizes 48 L-Acoustics K2 loudspeakers, complemented by KS28 subwoofers.

The audio system is engineered to provide nearly 180-degree coverage.
