KHS America, the U.S. home of Jupiter wind instruments, is proud to announce the introduction of four new finishes for the newly upgraded Jupiter 1100 Performance Series Alto Saxophone. These captivating limited-edition finishes offer musicians an expanded range of options to suit their individual style, personality, or mood.

The four alluring limited-edition finishes include Gilded Onyx, Burnished Amber, Natural Brass, and Twilight Smoke. These finishes provide exciting alternatives to the existing options of gold lacquered brass, all silver-plated, and silver-plated with gold lacquer keys. With this diverse selection, musicians can choose the instrument with the sonic properties that they prefer, and express themselves through the aesthetics of their instrument, allowing their personal flair to shine through.

In addition to the new finishes, the upgraded Jupiter 1100 Performance Series Alto Saxophone includes an updated ergonomic key structure, highlighted by optimized placement of levers, side keys, and adjustable palm keys. This re-imagined set-up offers players heightened flexibility and technical facility, while reducing stress and hand fatigue. All 1100 Series saxophones come standard with the Sona-Pure neck, manufactured with a special process which imbues the instruments with tonal warmth and clarity.

Renowned saxophonist James Cheeks of Mo’Horns shares his experience, stating, “Tone, character, and style: the Jupiter 1100 Series Performance Series saxophone has proven to be a reliable and expressive choice on stage or in the studio. The Sona-Pure neck brings character to my sound that resonates and inspires!”
