Lynx Studio Technology has announced the availability of Windows driver version 3, release 15, according to an official announcement. The updated software provides enhanced functionality for audio professionals using Lynx hardware.

According to Lynx Studio, the new driver version introduces multi-client operation, a feature that enables several applications to access audio channels concurrently. This capability, as reported by Lynx Studio, improves workflow efficiency for users managing complex audio setups. Reporting on the release, Lynx Studio noted that version 3.0 Release 14 previously brought support for E44/E22 Rev C cards and the Lynx Mesa.

The driver is compatible with both Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems, and it incorporates improvements to the Lynx Mixer, which now aligns frequency counters to precise values. The software package also includes NControl, a utility for managing audio device settings.

Released on July 24, 2026, this driver build builds upon earlier versions, with driver versions 13 and later holding Windows certification for several operating system releases. Prior to version 12, support for NControl and Aurora(n)-TB3 was unavailable. Earlier versions, dating back to version 10, were limited to 64-bit system compatibility.
