Premier Guitar reported that the updated lineup targets players seeking distinct visual styles alongside traditional Martin tone, pairing gloss-top finishes with stage-ready electronics.
The series expands market offerings with diverse body shapes, including 00Ls, Jumbos, and a Grand Performance cutaway. A significant product development is the DSS-16E, marking the manufacturer’s first short-scale sloped-shoulder Dreadnought designed for a relaxed feel and punchy voice. Construction features solid spruce tops paired with either satin solid mahogany or East Indian rosewood back and sides to vary tonal characteristics.
Every model includes standard L.R. Baggs Element electronics for amplified performance. Street prices for the new instruments range from $2,499.99 to $2,599.99.
