Melbourne show returns in August

The Australian Music Association’s Melbourne Guitar Show returns on August 8th-9th after a break of ten years.

Featuring the cream of Melbourne’s guitar talent it will display all of the world’s major brands as well as local makers and luthiers, and a good collection of vintage and collectables for the enthusiast. It’s billed as “the biggest guitar store ever seen in the southern hemisphere”.

AMA CEO, Rob Walker said: “It’s been a decade since the last Melbourne Guitar Show; a lot has changed and lot has stayed the same, like great products and great players – it’s an irrestible mix. The guitar is the world’s most popular instrument, we wanted to celebrate it. The members of our association wanted to inspire the public to get excited about playing music, by presenting the best products, the biggest brands and the best players all under one roof.”
