Native Instruments has introduced Super*Saw, a new synthesizer developed in partnership with acclaimed music producer A. G. Cook. According to Native Instruments, the instrument builds upon a foundation of layered sawtooth waveforms.
A. G. Cook, a British producer recognized with a Grammy Award, contributed to the design of Super*Saw. The synthesizer’s design incorporates two banks of oscillators, each containing 16 sawtooth generators.
Super*Saw provides users with a range of sonic possibilities, including presets focused on harmonies, dissonance, and gliding effects. Additionally, it provides integrated chorus, delay, and reverb processing. The instrument is designed to function with Native Instruments’ Komplete Kontrol keyboards and Maschine hardware.
Compatibility extends to Windows 10 and newer, as well as macOS 14 and later, supporting VST3, AU, and AAX plugin formats. The synthesizer is available for €99.
