Neural DSP has issued a substantial CorOS 4.1.0 refresh for its Quad Cortex amp modeller and multi-effects platform, marking a significant milestone for the ecosystem. The update is available free of charge to all Quad Cortex and Quad Cortex Mini users.

This release introduces eight new virtual devices, such as a Multivoicer harmonizer and Glitch granular delay, alongside expanded compatibility for signature Archetype plugin bundles by Tim Henson, John Mayer, John Petrucci, Rabea Massaad, and Misha Mansoor.

Dual Footswitch Assignments enhance Stomp Mode for live performance, while Cortex Control 4.1.0 enables simultaneous control of multiple devices from a computer. The update also features Device Presets, allowing users to save Virtual Device settings within a rig and transfer them to another preset.

Launching with 2,000 Factory Device Presets, Francisco Cresp, Neural DSP's CPO and co-founder, describes this release as a major achievement for the Quad Cortex platform.
