Noteflight Announces Expanded Leadership Team

Recognizing the dramatic growth of Noteflight as both a notation product and digital music delivery technology for the industry, Noteflight and Hal Leonard have announced an expansion of the Noteflight leadership team.

Rick Guardia, Noteflight’s VP of Operations, will now assume responsibility for internal management and all day-to-day operations at Noteflight. John Mlynczak will assume the new title of VP of Sales and Marketing. John’s role will be to oversee Noteflight’s customer and partner relationships, expand sales and marketing initiatives, and grow Noteflight’s business overall. Founder and president Joe Berkovitz will concentrate his focus on innovating products and technologies within the company and continuing his work with standards organizations such as W3C.

The expanded Noteflight executive team will continue to grow and promote Noteflight as the world’s first, largest and best online music notation platform, while collaborating with Hal Leonard and other partners on defining the future of digital music delivery for print and retail. “This new leadership structure addresses our current business needs better than ever, while we continue to push the boundaries of what notated music can be. Noteflight technology also powers the first ever interactive sheet music subscription service through Sheet Music Direct PASS, and Noteflight has already announced the availability of subscription-based educational content libraries in Noteflight Learn.
