According to KHS America, the Zip-Kit’s design prioritizes portability and ease of storage. The complete drum set is capable of fitting into a case that is smaller than typical carry-on luggage dimensions.
The instrument incorporates several key components, including an 8-inch snare drum, a 10-inch hi-hat controlled by a string, a 90-degree pedal for the kick drum, and an adjustable stool with an integrated practice pad. Players also receive a pair of 7A hickory drumsticks. The total weight of the Zip-Kit is 12.8 pounds.
Designed for a broad range of users, the Zip-Kit is appropriate for musicians aged eight and older, extending to adult players.
