Nuvoton has announced the availability of the NAU83G60YG, a new stereo smart audio amplifier, according to audioXpress. The device incorporates Klippel Controlled Sound (KCS) technology, a method for managing speaker performance developed by Klippel.

KCS, as reported by audioXpress, is a technique that adapts speaker control to address nonlinearities. This technology allows speakers to function nearer their operational boundaries, contributing to enhanced audio quality.

The NAU83G60YG is designed for use in a variety of systems, including smart speakers, conference setups, and automotive audio, audioXpress details. The amplifier’s capabilities include minimizing distortion, improving voice clarity, and providing speaker protection alongside diagnostic features. It is capable of delivering 2 × 30W into 4Ω loads and functions with a supply voltage between 8 and 24V.

Additional features of the NAU83G60YG, as described by audioXpress, include active DC compensation, two 15-band parametric equalizers, and low latency—ranging from 0.7 to 2 milliseconds. The amplifier supports several audio formats, such as I²S, PCM, and TDM.
