Obne has released an updated version of their Beam Splitter pedal, building upon the original’s concept with added features and expanded capabilities. According to gearnews.com, the new V2 model replicates an incoming audio signal, splitting it into three separate pathways for a more complex sound.

Reporting from gearnews.com indicates the pedal incorporates various effects such as flangers, vibratos, and echoes, alongside buffered trails and a true bypass switching system. Each drive section includes individual controls for gain, volume, and tone shaping.

The Beam Splitter V2 provides delay times up to 211 milliseconds, and a 'Deviate' control adds unpredictable changes to the delay times. A 'Spread' knob enhances the stereo width, and the device now offers comprehensive MIDI control for adjusting all settings. Users can save and recall 127 different presets.

This latest iteration includes a redesigned Drive 3 transistor circuit and allows for expression pedal integration to control primary functions. The OBNE Beam Splitter V2 is available now for €429.
