Orange Amplification has announced the arrival of a new amplifier, designated the “Baby Terror,” according to Music Instrument News. The device is a compact amplifier built around an analogue micro-lunchbox format, offering a simplified control set while retaining key Orange characteristics.
Reporting from Music Instrument News indicates the “Baby Terror” provides 20 watts of power, and incorporates controls for Gain, Volume, EQ, and Presence. Users can adjust the amplifier's tonal characteristics to suit their preferences. A unique “Tubby” switch allows for the addition of increased low-frequency content, and a footswitchable volume control facilitates seamless soloing.
Features such as an effects loop and a balanced line output enhance the amplifier’s versatility for both studio and live applications. The “Baby Terror” utilizes a JFET front end for its sound shaping. The amplifier will be accompanied by a custom protective bag, designed to safeguard the equipment.
The “Baby Terror” is scheduled to become available worldwide on July 29, 2026, with a UK retail price of £199, a suggested retail price of €229 in the European Union, and a US price of $249.
