Elytone has launched a new amplifier module, the AM-500C1G, under its Peak Amplification brand. According to audioXpress, the company initially showcased this technology in 2025 and provided a preview at ISE 2026, which created considerable interest within the professional audio sector, particularly for applications requiring substantial multichannel power.
The newly released AM-500C1G utilizes Infineon CoolGaN technology, establishing a new standard for audio performance with a high density. The module delivers 500W at 4Ω and operates with minimal heat generation, eliminating the need for a traditional heatsink. Furthermore, it achieves more than double the power output of the earlier AM-200C1G module at 4Ω.
The AM-500C1G's design incorporates Infineon’s CoolGaN power transistor (IGC090S18S1) and IRS20957S Class-D controller IC. The compact module, measuring 30.0 mm and weighing 65g, is designed for vertical placement, allowing for increased channel density in constrained spaces. Its efficiency reaches up to 94% and exhibits low distortion and noise levels.
