Tateside recently developed a sophisticated property experience for Trillium, utilizing advanced technology to showcase the development’s features. According to Inavate, the project centered around a technically demanding sales and marketing suite situated in London.
The firm implemented a QLab-based show control system to manage the complex array of elements within the suite. This system coordinated projection mapping, audio cues, interactive touchscreen interfaces, and automated door operation. Reporting from Inavate indicates that five Epson projectors were deployed to cover both the walls and the floor, with two projector outputs being combined to produce a seamless visual effect.
To power the QLab system, a Mac Studio was used, and an NDI decoder was incorporated for video output to a floor projector. The design also incorporated the room’s pre-existing audio infrastructure. An OpenAVC control system facilitated communication between the touchscreens and QLab, while a WebRelay device was programmed to automatically unlock a door, revealing a simulated spa area.
Prior to the on-site installation, the entire system underwent rigorous testing in a separate environment to ensure proper functionality and synchronization. This preliminary evaluation helped confirm the system's readiness for the final deployment.
