Roland Corp. plans to open its first flagship store in North America in early October at 414 West 14th Street in Manhattan. The new retail destination will unite the Roland, BOSS and Drum Workshop Inc. brands under a single roof, joining existing company flagships in London and Tokyo. Situated near the Highline and a major subway station, the venue targets musicians, producers, creators and music fans seeking a comprehensive experience with various musical instruments and technology.

mixonline.com reported the facility spans more than 9,000 square feet and includes dedicated areas for pianos, drums, guitars, synthesizers, DJ gear and Roland Cloud services. The location also features additional product warehouse space. Beyond standard retail operations, the store aims to function as a creative hub by offering free 30-minute workshops and one-on-one sessions with product specialists to help customers expand their skills and learn new methods for using their equipment effectively.

Manuele Barbini, CEO of Roland Americas, stated that the company intends to provide local musicians and producers a space to examine new products and engage with the brand team. The retailer will operate seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visitors can get hands-on with various products and receive in-person guidance from specialists while exploring the latest offerings from the combined brands within this expansive new environment designed for creativity and learning.
