Roland presented a comprehensive array of product launches, events and corporate news at the 2026 NAMM Show. The company highlighted the TR-1000 Rhythm Creator, a platform designed to fuse iconic TR heritage with modern innovation to ignite the next era of rhythm. The V-Drums 3 and 5 Series were also on showcase, offering wide-ranging kits with newly developed pads, updated hardware and next-gen modules. These kits feature the same premium sounds and expansion options as the flagship V71 and 7 Series.
For mobile creators, Roland debuted the GO:MIXER STUDIO portable audio mixer, delivering professional sound and expanded connectivity. The company also announced the CUBE Street Mini multi-instrument amplifier, a battery-powered solution for solo and duo performances.
Software releases included the CR-78 Software Rhythm Composer, making the classic drum machine heard on countless pop and rock hits available as a DAW plug-in on Roland Cloud. An update added three models for the BOSS Effects Pedals plug-in: the DM-2 Delay, OD-2 TURBO OverDrive and DC-2 Dimension C. Roland also previewed ZENOLOGY GX for iPad, capturing the Zen-Core synthesis system in a standalone instrument. The EARTH electric piano was demonstrated as an expressive software instrument exclusively on Roland Cloud.
Event highlights included the PLAYLIST Retreat Experience, where Roland and DJ Jazzy Jeff joined creative voices for conversation and live performances. Roland, BOSS, DW and LP celebrated 2026 Lifetime Achievement Awards. Honorees included Karl Perazzo, Prince Paul, Adam Granduciel and Josh Freese.
Corporate news included the completion of a new global headquarters designed to ignite the next wave of music innovation. The Future Design Lab showcased Project LYDIA, exploring AI and the future of music creation. Roland also displayed the KIYOLA KF-20 and KF-25 digital pianos, built in collaboration with Karimoku, Japan’s leading manufacturer of premium wood furniture. Reina Ichihashi was recognized as a 2026 She Rocks Award honoree. The popular Roland Aerophone family expanded with the Aerophone Brisa digital wind instrument.
