Shure is positioning itself for global growth and enhanced customer support with a new sales structure.

Led by José A. Rivas, Vice President and Chief Sales Officer at Shure, the new global sales structure was reengineered to be closer to customers and end users. The new structure will cover six geographic sales organizations to maximize the global presence of the company — North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, East Asia and Southeast Asia and Pacific.

“This new organizational structure has been designed to enhance operational efficiencies and expedite growth initiatives, aligning Shure for success in the ever-evolving market landscape,” said Rivas. “We believe this change will allow us to be more connected with our customers and end users and will bring our extraordinary solutions even closer to the market.”

Sean Bowman, Associate Vice President at Shure, will lead North America Sales. Bowman joined Shure as Senior Sales Manager in 2016. He previously led Retail Sales for the former U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand region, taking on responsibility for regional sales, market development, and regional marketing team leadership.

Bowman has a track record of growing the organization with innovative and user-centric strategies, including boosting relationships with key channel partners to get closer to these customers and grow the e-commerce business regionally.

In his new role, Bowman will focus on building Shure’s go-to-market structure in sales management, market development, regional marketing, and customer experience to align with our Company’s strategic priorities, achieve business goals, and prepare Shure for future growth.

“It’s an honor to take on this new role and lead Shure’s evolution in North America,” said Bowman. “This new structure will allow us to prioritize the creative voices of our customers directly into the decisions that shape our products and roadmap, pushing the limits of what is possible through powerful innovation and engineering.”

Before joining Shure in 2016, he was Vice President of the Americas at Gibson Brands, integrating multiple brands in its MI, Pro, and Consumer markets. Bowman has a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of Maryland and a Master’s degree in Music Technology from Indiana University.
