Sound Service European Music Distribution has acquired the exclusive distribution of Mogees for Germany and Austria.
Mogees become established after a successful campaign on Kickstarter. It combines a vibration sensor with music software which turns any object into a musical instrument , The Mogees sensor is a high-contact microphone which picks up vibrations from any physical object, and sends it to the Mogees software. The software then analyses the audio frequencies of the input and adjusts the sound of the instrument accordingly in real time. The unique feature of the software is that it can learn different “gestures” of the user, such as touching or scratching to vary the sound accordingly.
The app is available for iPhones, iPods and iPads running iOS 8 and above. The Mogees software is also available as a VST / AU plug-in for Mac and will soon be available for Windows PC and allows operation with any digital audio workstation.
