Barnes and Mullins has launched two new Spector Limited Edition 40th Anniversary bass guitars in the UK.
Unveiled at NAMM 2016 by Stuart Spector to celebrate the company’s 40 year’s in the business, the unique models offer a new twist on the brand’s Euro Series of hand crafted basses.
Available in red and blue stain gloss versions, both models feature Spector’s carved, solid maple bodies and are loaded with all the hardware and electronics that has popularised the Euro Series for many years.
Every model is individually crafted from hand-picked tone woods and finished with a red or blue gloss top broken by a solid black band down the centre and a black maple neck, neck-through construction and 24 fret rosewood fingerboard that includes a 40th Anniversary 12th fret inlay.
Both models come complete with black hardware, graphite reinforced truss rods and premium powerhouse pickups in the shape of custom-wound Bartolini’s and EMGs. They also feature Spector’s innovative Tone Pump circuit.
Both models retail at £2,340 and are available to order now from the Barnes and Mullins sales team and via their online portal. – http://www.bandm.co.uk
