Spector Basses has launched the NS Icon Neck-Through series, a strategic expansion of its Icon platform designed to deliver the manufacturer’s celebrated neck-through construction to a wider segment of the music-products market. According to a report by Premier Guitar, this release follows the Summer 2025 introduction of the bolt-on variant and incorporates the brand’s legacy design to enhance sustain and resonance for modern players.
Premier Guitar states that the new instruments feature solid alder body wings capped with figured quilted maple tops, available in four gloss stain finishes. The source notes that the 3-piece maple neck-through build offers superior stability, paired with rosewood fingerboards and brass nuts. Scale lengths vary between 34 inches for four-string models and 35 inches for five-string versions to optimize tension.
The publication reports that the series includes a pro-grade electronics package headlined by custom-voiced Aguilar DCB pickups and an OBP-2 onboard preamp. Hardware specifications include gold locking bridges and high-precision tuners.
