SSL has released a new version of its 360° software platform, designed to connect control surfaces with digital audio workstations. According to Gearnews.com, the software facilitates communication between hardware controllers and various DAWs.
Reporting from Gearnews.com indicates that the latest update introduces controller profiles specifically tailored for Steinberg’s LUNA and Pyramix systems. This development builds upon earlier versions, which already offered templates for other popular DAWs.
Existing integrations have also been enhanced; Logic Pro users can now experience synchronized track selection and color assignments, while Pro Tools users benefit from support for eight-character track names and mirrored color displays. The UC1 controller now provides channel solo and mute functionality, and the Plug-in Mixer now features eight virtual Soft Keys. Furthermore, the Harrison 32Classic Channel Strip V2 plugin now includes a system for preset management.
The update, which is offered at no cost, is compatible with M1/ARM processors and grants registered owners of the UF8 and UC1 controllers access to a six-month SSL Complete subscription.
