Yorkville Sound has announced the availability of a new powered subwoofer, the EL24S, according to reporting by Mixonline. The company asserts that this model represents the initial 24-inch powered subwoofer offered by Yorkville.
Darren Butt, a P.A. Product Specialist at Yorkville Sound, highlighted the device’s inclusion in the company’s Elite series of products. The EL24S boasts a substantial 5,000 watts of peak power, designed for demanding applications.
The subwoofer utilizes a neodymium driver with a 6.5-inch voice coil to deliver impactful low-frequency reproduction. It incorporates onboard limiting to protect the system and includes both full-range inputs and outputs for flexible integration. Power is delivered through powerCON TRUE1 compatible connectors.
Shipments of the EL24S are anticipated to begin during the fourth quarter of the year.
