Fender has broadened its commemorative series of instruments to mark its 75th year, according to Australian Musician Magazine. The expanded selection incorporates three distinct models: the Nocaster, the Baritone Telecaster, and the Player II Precision Bass.
The Nocaster is designed to honor an early Fender guitar from 1951 that lacked a formal designation, the publication reports. This particular instrument in the anniversary series showcases an ash construction, accompanied by a vintage-inspired blonde finish and an aged nitrocellulose lacquer coating. It also features a maple neck with a fingerboard having a 7.25-inch radius.
Additionally, the Baritone Telecaster and the Player II Precision Bass are part of the expanded collection. The Baritone Telecaster includes a Modern “C”-profile neck and a fingerboard with a 9.5-inch radius. The Player II Precision Bass also utilizes a Modern “C”-profile neck, with a fingerboard radius of 9.5 inches.
The Player II Telecaster, also part of the broader offering, is accessible with bodies constructed from alder, ash, or mahogany.
